Will my hospital/birthing center allow me to wear my Mommy's Gown?
As labor nurses we made sure to design your Mommy's Gown
to include every feature of the "typical" hospital gown.
You should have no problems whatsoever.
After I go home, how should I launder my Mommy's Gown?
Wash your gown the same way you would any other
100% cotton garment. If there should happen to be any "stains",
after you use the gown, use hydrogen peroxide on the stains
right before you launder the gown.
Is a "Mommy's Gown" only for maternity patients?
Absolutely not...any person who will be admitted into
the hospital for any reason can use our gown.
How many do I need?
If you are having a vaginal birth you will, typically, be in the
hospital for 48hrs, so 2 gown would be necessary..
If you have a cesarean birth you will be in the hospital for 72hrs,
so 3 gowns would be necessary.
Will I be able to wear my "Mommy's Gown" into the operating
room for my c/section?
You should wear the hospital-issued gown into the operating room
(because it will get "ruined"), when in the recovery room your nurse
will change your gown before transferring you to postpartum.
Have her change you into your "Mommy's Gown" then.
